Bike Pump Presta Adapter

Race Seattle to Portland (STP), how I can take a bicycle pump with me in case I need it?
The official website of STP also said to bring some medicine, but how? I can not take anything with me on my bike. Is there any way to do it officially, plus perhaps a family member of mine to carry the supplies in your car and maybe stop at the stops that I love on the phone with them by phone? And a cell phone - I can carry in my shirt - I think so.
