What set of instruments or tools do you recommend for a soft tail harely 2005?
My mom bought a 1200 sports 2006 and decided he liked the Soft Tail it.Well better.So 2005 bought the battery went dead and she was not even a knife to remove a screw so that she could get his seat was to check to see if they remembered to tighten the cables. Well it turns out that there are any other bikers there and all had good bicycle tool kits where there is front fork and has now decided he needs a good tool set.But there are only so many to choose from.And since I left the soft tail ride around Daytona weeks bike I like to have with her. So please help.I do not want to spend a fortune either.But know what tools and quality costs are similar. So you can you please give me a hand or two. Sincerely Walking-Bear have been traveling for 25 years and have always done my own set of tools and had the Amish brand me a bag and support for them. Well, she lives in Florida and I do not know any Amish down there.
There is a suitable tool for the job and is never an adjustable wrench. That said to carry a kit should have one, but for the maintenance at home leave it in the bag. As stated above are not ready kits that have a general assortment of the elements at hand and this may be the way forward. One caution. An owner armed with tools and the knowledge is one of the most destructive forces of a motorcycle can be found. Buy her a primer too.
